This team loves people and makes them feel at home at Journey. They welcome guests at the door with a smile.
Usher Team
This team prepares people for a positive worship experience by welcoming and assisting them to a seat, facilitating the offering, and maintaining a distraction-free environment.
Parking Team
This team is guest’s first impression of Journey. They manage the flow of the parking lot for services and events, making parking easy and efficient.
Hospitality Team
This team connects with guests by offering a hot cup of coffee, a doughnut and a warm welcome while also keeping our coffee stations clean and stocked.
Bookstore Team
Our bookstore team provides a point of contact for those attending Journey to purchase books, bible studies, hats, t-shirts, our Journey Worship CD and much more.
Security Team
This team helps provide a safe place to worship for our attendees as well as children. In the event an emergency arises, our security team will be there to handle any and all situations.
Connections Team
This team serves guests by answering questions and providing information on all of our current events, ministry opportunities and services at Journey.
Starting Point Team
This team hosts Starting Point by greeting guests and providing materials and assistance throughout the class.

This dynamic team prepares the way for our guests to

Production Team
Our production team uses technology in the form of sound, video and lighting to enhance the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. If you have a heart for service and a desire to learn, we will do the rest. Our team is committed to train and equip you.
Audio positions are trained to mix the sound for services, including vocal, music, special effects and recording. This is a fun, and challenging place to serve. Our audio department is growing and needs you; if you have an ear for sound and a mind to learn then you will love it here.
Video positions include camera operators, live stream, video mixer operator, video editing and post production projects. If you have a desire to learn and enjoy the action and emotion that video captures, then jump in! We will teach you the rest.
Each lighting operator is trained on proper light board use. The lighting operator creates the mood to enhance the praise and worship experience that is done with excellence and good taste. A blank canvas awaits to be painted with light!

Media Team
Computer/Graphics positions include creating print-ready media for video slides, posters and banners, video graphics for music services, graphic slides for displays, song lyrics, and more. Computer programs that we use include Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Pro Presenter, among others. If you love a challenge and you love to learn and work with computers then you may want to start here.
Social Media-We help create awareness for our church and various ministries using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media to connect the community with what's going on in and around Journey Church. Volunteers help with developing creative messaging for posts, tweets and photographs.

Journeytown Kids Team
Kids Check-in - This team welcomes families as they arrive at our Journeytown kids areas and facilitates the check-in process, ensuring children are cared for effectively and efficiently.
Nursery- This team leads children into a real relationship with Jesus through Bible stories, worship, prayer, hands-on activities and personal interactions.
